I’ve always known that this wasn’t the kind of role I wanted to play, which is why I am proud to lead Haddon Wealth Management, LLC, a registered investment advisory firm that provides customized, comprehensive wealth management for clients throughout the Delaware Valley as well as nationwide. I formed the firm as a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) to avoid cookie cutter solutions and proprietary products. Instead, the firm’s focus is on tailored strategies individually designed for each client and their family. Today, this remains the foundation of my purpose and drives me in all that I do.

What Does It Mean to Be an RIA?

Not everyone is familiar with a firm calling itself an RIA. An RIA firm is a fiduciary, focused on finding solutions that are in your best interest, unlike many other financial firms who are not held to the same standard, and are only concerned with how much they can earn from you!  My firm, which is only fee-based, does not receive commissions on any products, and is not held to a limited internal short list of investments.

Our wealth management capabilities, focused on investment management and comprehensive financial planning, are as unique as our clients. I am passionate, creative, and fascinated by the process of providing my clients a unique understanding of their money and in a new way that brings them clarity and confidence in their future financial lives.

Who Do I Serve?

While each of my clients are unique and have their own personas, most tend to be “the millionaires next door.” They are affluent individuals and families who don’t flaunt their assets.  Rather, they’ve worked hard to accumulate their wealth. They want to preserve it and ensure it lasts throughout their retirement, and, hopefully, they can leave plenty for the next generation.

Over the years, I have best worked with individuals who have happened to come into wealth for any number of reasons, be it through their own hard work, sale of a business, death of a loved one, medical payout, or inheritance. At Haddon Wealth Management we tend to have deep relationships with our clients, many of the people we work with value the benefits an advisor can offer. They turn to us not only for investment advice but also comprehensive financial advice and they rely on our knowledge and experience to guide them in their decisions.

Ultimately, I think clients choose to work with me because I have a down to earth, non-sales style. I think I surprise people when we meet because they don’t feel that I’m giving them a hard sell. Rather, I show passion for what I do, how I do it, and how I know I can be of great help to them. I aim to quickly establish a bond of trust with people, and I think that resonates with the prospective clients I meet.

Furthermore, I strive to run my practice in a very fee-conscientious way. My firm level fees are typically below what big firms charge, I use low-cost investment products, and I attempt to minimize income taxes for my clients each and every year. These cost-saving measures have the potential to add up to much greater net returns for my clients.
